Lorin Seward, manager at Historic Tours of America, recently spoke to the Coronado Club. These are the folks who run the Old Town Trolley Tours. They also have a Ghosts and Gravestones Tour, a Patriot Tour, and a Sea & Land Adventure Tour. Call 298-8687 if interested in inviting him to speak at your club.

Ed Wilensky asked if a group of Optimist wanted to go to the opera this season. I sent out the request to all presidents and didn't get much response. So I asked him if he wanted to speak to clubs and invited him to Kensington April 16 or later. This is his reply.

Meg Newcomb and Michelle Wright recently who gave some insights into the Sea World Expansion program. Contact the Uptown Club for details.

Jim Raines, San Diego Fire Department, is the Dispatch Captain for San Diego's 911 system. He spoke recently to the Coronado Club - contact them for details. He explained how the system works, how the 911 dispatcher determines the nature of the emergency and what organization will respond.

Cleo Williams will speak to your club about T.E.A.C.H. (Therapeutic Equestrian Activity Center for the Handicapped). This program instructs and works with children that are developmentally disabled with Down syndrome, epileptic, autistic and mentally retarded conditions.
